SuMing Chin Sullivan
I am a tenacious pursuer of justice, context, the concept of “both/and” coexistence, and repair. I believe social work as a profession has aspirational values of anti-racist practice and racial justice, which, although often fall short of the mark, we ought to strive for, embody, and demonstrate.
I value relationships with the earth, connections to ancestral wisdom, movement, animals, and people. I am a biracial person of Asian and Western European descent, a mother, a partner, a child, an animal lover, and a disrupter.
