Alfonso Henderson
I would like to start by saying racial justice is social justice. What propels me to this work is the vision of living in an environment where Black, Indigenous, and People of Color are able to live freely without fear of lacking anything. The field of social work needs to be deconstructed and more intentional in bringing forth reparations to and for our disadvantaged communities.
I identify as a Black Queer Male who is a brother, son, and uncle. What makes me human is living my best life traveling, eating good, and dancing like no one's watching.
